September 2005 - Autogem Bought By Invicta Components.
Autogem has been purchased by Invicta Components based in
Park Royal, London. Invicta are well known to Autogem as
they have been the largest supplier to the business over the
last 5 years. The family run operation will spend the first
few months getting to grips with Autogem with some ambitious
plans in place to ensure that the business grows stronger
and stronger over the coming years.
November 2005 - Warehouse Move 1.
The first week of November has seen one of
the most ambitious projects to date in the restructuring of
Autogem. Over the weekend the Leeds warehouse, all 25,000sq
ft was emptied and transported to the new site in Park
Royal, London. Thanks to an immense amount of hard work from
all involved the new warehouse was functional and shipping
parcels by the end of the first working day, with the small
backlog cleared and despatches running smoothly after only
three days.
